Independence Day

Hi guys!

Today I’m gonna talk about Independence Day!

It’s been a long time that I don’t write on it, but I haven’t had time. In summer, I’m too busy taking care of my host sisters all day! I’m so happy to spend all my days with them!

First of all, Independence day is celebrating on July fourth and it’s a famous and a great celebration all around USA.
I will leave you here a link about the meaning of this celebration.

The typical things that you can enjoy in this day is spending a nice time with your family or host family and friends doing a barbecue, playing outside and playing with fireworks at night.

I celebrated this amazing day with the host family of my friend Sofia. In that day, my host family were out, so my friend Sofia invited me and I had a great time with all of them.

I lived the real Independence day and I’m so glad for it. They made me feel like home as always. We started to prepare the barbecue, we painted each other and we putted some stuff about america.

Furthermore, we play volleyball and we had a funny time together. Also, we ate together in the barbecue with the typical songs about Independence day of America and we ate a cake of America.

I will leave some photos about that day. In this way you can imagine better how I spent my time with them.

In less than 2 months I’m leaving from USA to Barcelona, I can’t imagine how the time is flying!

¡Hola!

¡Hoy voy a hablar del Día de la Independencia en USA!

Hace mucho que no escribo en el blog, pero no he tenido casi tiempo. En verano, estoy demasiado ocupada cuidando de las niñas todo el día, pero estoy contenta por ellos.

En primer lugar, Independence Day se celebra el quatro de Julio y es una celebración muy famosa que se celebra en todos Estados Unidos.

Lo típico que se hace en ese día es pasar un tiempo agradable con su familia o host family y amigos, haciendo una barbacoa, jugando a fuera y a la noche jugando con los fuegos artificiales a la noche

Celebré este dia con a familia de mi amiga Sofia. En ese día, mi familia estaba fuera en la otra casa, por lo tanto mi amiga Sofia me invitó y me divertí con todos ellos.

Viví el verdadero dia de la independencia y estoy contenta por ello. Me hicieron sentir como en casa. Empezamos a preparar la barbacoa, nos pintamos mutuamente y decoramos la mesa con cosas típicas de america.

Además, jugamos a voleibol y nos lo pasamos genial. También, comimos juntos en la barbacoa con las canciones típicas sobre este día de la independencia de los Estados Unidos y comimos un pastel sobre la bandera de USA.
