MY AMAZING TRIP IN 7 DAYS

Today I’m gonna talk about my trip with one of my best friends here in USA and who made this trip better of what I thought. She is so funny, friendly and very good friend. She is from Italy and we are the best team on the word! I love you Sofia 😀   Italy Vs Spain!

We realized this trip 1 month ago, after my parents came back to Barcelona, so, I’m late writing this post, sorry !

The route of this trip started in Las Vegas – Grand Canyon (Arizona), secondly – Sequoia National Park (California) – Sant Francisco – Santa Monica and finally we finished this trip in Hollywood. We realized this trip in only 7 days.

We arrived in Las Vegas at 10pm and then we went to rent the car with the Alamo. I can say that this agency is good, it’s cheaper and we didn’t have any problem with them, so I recommend you.

Once rented the car we went to have dinner in Las Vegas and visited the city a little bit at night. Then we went to the hotel that had a casino inside (the typical Hotel in las Vegas).

We went to sleep at 2am and we woke up at 5am to go to Grand Canyon. So, we slept only 3 hours. Once we were ready to leave, we drove during 4 hours to get in Grand Canyon.

Grand canyon is so gorgeous! Is such a paradise, you can feel peace and calm! We took a lot of photos that you can see below.

After Grand Canyon, we took our car again and we kept driving toward close to Sequoia National Park. We looked up the Motels by internet in our way. We didn’t look for them before the trip, we thought that it was better and definetly it was better 😀

We arrive to the Motel at 11pm. It was the harder route that we went through in this trip. It took us 9 hours to get there. We were drinking a lot of coke and coffee. It was a little crazy thing. We share driving, but it was harder anyway. The Motel was amazing and very typical in that zone and the man who it was on the reception, he was very friendly with us.

The next day, we woke up at 7am. We only had 1 hour to get in Sequoia National Park, we were very close 😀

Sequoia National Park, is not free, you must pay 30$ per day as Grand Canyon, however, it was worthy!

In Sequoia National Park, I met a couple from l’Alt Penèdes, who live 20min away from I’m living in Spain. It was a wonderful moment. Sometimes you can see how small that is the world.

Also, we met a man from Massachusetts who is a profesional photographer and a very nice person.

We enjoyed a lot staying close to the nature and we had the opportunity to see those huge trees, that for this reason the Sequoia National Park is famous.

After see almost all of that park, we drove toward near San francisco for sleep in some Motel.

We got in the Motel at 7pm, so when we just arrived there, we started searching for a place where we could have dinner. I recommend our Motel, which have a lot of motels around USA. It’s called Americas Best Value Inn.

Also, I recommend that you don’t go to sleep more than one day in Sant Francisco if you have few days for travel, because specially in San Francisco the Motels and Hotels are very expensive. My friend and I, slept one night close to San Francisco and the next day we slept in Sant Francisco, otherwise it were expensive.

Then, on the next day (fourth day), we just drove 1 hour to get in San Francisco, the best city that I have seen in USA so far ^^.

First of all, we visited the Golden Gate Bridge and then the fantastic views on the top of Sant Francisco, (Twin Peaks).

 

 

Secondly, we found a Motel in the city center (Union Square) of San Francisco and a parking close to the hotel for leave our car there.

Once in the Hotel, we left to explore all the city. We took the famous cable and then we went to Marina (where there is the beach, restaurants, turism,etc..).

I’m gonna leave some photos under it and you can see what we saw.

We were all day until night visiting this amazing city that I will never forget it. The people were so friendly and helpful with us. I could see that the style of the city was similar to Europe. The people was quiet, not like New York City that the people is so stressful in every single day.

To summarize, San Francisco stole my heart. ❤

In the fifth day, we were swimming with the dolphins at the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom around 10am. It was a great experience that I have always dreamed of. You can see on the photos :D!

After that, we drove 5 hours to Santa Monica and on our way we found a nice Motel close to the city center.

The next day (sixth day), we woke up early and we were to the beach to see that amazing zone full of tourism and people enjoying of the day.

Santa Monica is a nice beach city to take a relaxed vacation. We took a lot of pictures close to the beach though the weather was very cloudy.

 

In the same day, we drove to Hollywood! The famous city that you can see in a lot of American movies. Hollywood is only 30min away from Santa Monica, so in the same day, we visited two cities. We walked on the walk of fame, but before, we saw the sign of Hollywood from the top of the city. In hollywood the weather was hot, around 27 degrees.

Finally, we left the car in the airport in Hollywood at 8pm and we took the plane at 10pm.

At the end of this trip, we became upset, because we enjoyed a lot and we didn’t want to finish it and come back to the real live.

This trip was very helpful for me and it helped me to see the life better that it was. Sometimes we get in the rutine every single day and we don’t focus in what is important in life or what do you want or not in your life to get a better future. I have learned that when I travel I feel bigger what I am.

During this trip I felt free and great now I’m full of energy. I’m so happy to be in USA right now and very happy for this great experience I have had of meeting amazing friends that I will never forget and have had learn a lot of things.

Spanish Version

¡Hola!

Hoy voy a hablar sobre mi viaje con una de mis mejores amigas aquí en EE.UU., y que hizo que este viaje fuera mejor de lo que pensaba.

Hicimos este viaje hace apoximadamente 1 mes, después de que mis padres regresaron a Barcelona, por lo que llego tarde a escribir este post, lo siento!

El recorrido de este viaje comenzó en Las Vegas – Gran Canyon (Arizona), en segundo lugar – Sequoia National Park (California) – Sant Francisco – Santa Monica y finalmente terminó este viaje en Hollywood. Realizamos este viaje en tan sólo 7 días.

Llegamos en Las Vegas a las 10 pm y luego fuimos a alquilar el coche con el Alamo. Puedo decir que esta agencia es buena, es más barato y no tuvimos ningún problema con ellos, por lo que os la recomiendo.

Una vez alquilado el coche nos fuimos a cenar en Las Vegas y visitamos la ciudad un poco por la noche. Luego nos fuimos al hotel donde se encontraba un casino en el interior (el típico hotel en Las Vegas).

Nos fuimos a dormir a las 2am y nos despertamos a las 5am para ir a Gran Canyon. Por lo tanto, dormimos sólo 3 horas. Una vez que estábamos listos para salir, condujimos durante 4 horas para llegar en Gran Canyon.
Gran Cañón es espectacular! Es un paraíso, se puede sentir la paz y tranquilidad!

Después del Gran Canyon, tomamos nuestro coche de nuevo y seguimos conduciendo hacia cerca del Sequoia National Park. Buscábamos los Moteles por internet en nuestro camino, mientras vamos avanzando. No miramos para ellos antes del viaje, pensamos que era mejor y sin duda fue mejor: D

Llegamos al Motel a las 11 pm. Era la ruta más difícil que vivimos en este viaje. Nos tomó 9 horas para llegar allí. Estábamos bebiendo una gran cantidad de coca-cola y café. Era una locura! Vamos cambiando a la hora de conducir, pero fue difícil de todos modos. El Motel era increíble y muy típico en esa zona y el hombre que estaba en la recepción, fue muy amable con nosotras.

Al día siguiente, nos despertamos a las 7 am. Sólo nos quedaba 1 hora para llegar en el Sequoia National Park, estabamos muy cerca: D
Sequoia National Park, no es gratis, debes pagar $ 30 por día, como en Gran Canyon, sin embargo, vale la pena pagarlos!

En Sequoia National Park, me encontré con una pareja de l’Alt Penedès, que viven a tan solo 20min de donde vivo en España. Fue un momento maravilloso. A veces se puede ver lo pequeño que es el mundo.
Además, nos encontramos con un hombre de Massachusetts, que es un fotógrafo profesional y una persona muy agradable.

Después de ver casi todo ese parque, nos dirigimos hacia la zona de San Francisco para dormir en un Motel ya que sabíamos que llegaríamos tarde.
Llegamos en el motel a las 8 pm, así que cuando acabamos de llegar allí, comenzamos a buscar un lugar donde podíamos cenar.

Recomiendo nuestro Motel, ya que tienen una gran cantidad de moteles en EE.UU y esta bien de precio. Se llama «Americas Best Value Inn«.
Además, recomiendo que no vayas a dormir más de un día en Sant Francisco si tiene pocos días para viajar, porque especialmente en San Francisco los moteles y hoteles son muy caros. Mi amiga y yo, dormimos una noche cerca de San Francisco y al día siguiente dormimos en Sant Francisco.

Luego, al día siguiente (cuarto día), nos fuimos hacia San Francisco, la mejor ciudad que he visto en EE.UU. hasta ahora ^^.
En primer lugar, visitamos el Golden Gate Bridge y luego las fantásticas vistas sobre la parte superior de Sant Francisco, (Twin Peaks).
En segundo lugar, encontramos un motel en el centro de la ciudad (Union Square) de San Francisco y un aparcamiento cerca del hotel para dejar el coche allí.
Una vez en el hotel, nos fuimos a explorar la ciudad. Tomamos el famoso cable y luego fuimos a Marina (donde se encuentra la playa, restaurantes, turismo, etc ..).

Estábamos todo el día hasta la noche visitando esa ciudad tan increíble que nunca olvidaré. La gente era muy amable y servicial con nosotros. Pude ver que el estilo de la ciudad era similar a la de Europa. La ciudad estaba tranquila, no como la ciudad de Nueva York que es muy estrenaste!!!

Para resumir, San Francisco me robó el corazón.

En el quinto día, estábamos nadar con los delfines en el Six Flags Discovery Kingdom alrededor de las 10 am. Fue una gran experiencia que siempre he soñado en hacerlo.

Después de eso, nos llevó 5 horas llegar a Santa Monica. Encontramos un buen motel cerca del centro de la ciudad.

Al día siguiente (sexto día), nos despertamos temprano y fuimos a la playa para ver esa zona repleta de turismo y la gente disfrutando del día. EL día no era el mejor, pero hacia calor.
Santa Monica es una ciudad de playa agradable para tomar unas vacaciones relajadas. Tomamos una gran cantidad de imágenes cerca de la playa, aunque el clima estaba muy nublado.

En el mismo día, fuimos a Hollywood! La ciudad famosa que se puede ver en muchas películas americanas. Hollywood esta a tan solo 30 minutos de Santa Monica, por lo que en el mismo día, visitamos dos ciudades. Caminamos por el paseo de la fama, pero antes, vimos la señal de Hollywood desde la parte superior de la ciudad. En Hollywood, el tiempo era caliente, alrededor de 27 Degrees.

Por último, dejamos el coche en el aeropuerto de Hollywood a las 8 pm y tomamos el avión a las 10 pm.

Al final de este viaje, estábamos tristes, porque disfrutamos mucho y no queríamos terminarlo y volver a la vida real.

Este viaje fue muy útil para mí y me ayudó a ver la vida mejor de lo que era. A veces entramos en la rutina de todos los días y no nos centramos en lo que de verdad es importante en la vida o lo que desearia hacer o no en mi vida para conseguir un futuro mejor. He aprendido que cuando viajo me siento más grande de lo que soy.
Durante este viaje, me sentí libre y grande y ahora estoy llena de energía.

Estoy muy feliz de estar en EE.UU. en este momento y muy feliz por esta gran experiencia y también por tener la oportunidad de haber conocido amigos increíbles que nunca voy a olvidar.
