I’m alive!
I say this because last Saturday I experienced a big storm in Scarsdale «New York». All day was snowing and windy. I was at home alone because my host family went to another house in Long Island «Hamptons», so I was very very very very very very bored. Nevertheless I was shoveling, I did Skype with friends, em… I watched 12974018409 tv shows, I cleaned my bedroom and private bathroom, what else? em… a lot of things!
Everybody was stuck at their homes, only the truck that removes the snow could drive on the road. In america if you want that someone remove the snow in your driveway, you have to pay for a private service.
Last Friday, the day before the storm, all the people went to buy food because in the news said that people couldn’t go out during the storm, «obviously» was a huge storm! So, on the afternoon, a lot of supermarkets were empty of food. I was in there and I felt like an apocalypse zombie. I think that people would have to get used on this and buy the food before.
In spite of the big storm on Saturday, on Sunday I went to take advantage of the snow and I went to sledding with my host sister. It was a great time because we had a lot of fun. The most fun was when I almost flight out from the sled. If you want, you can watch the video, how we were sledding. After that, we made a snowman that we called snow grandpa.

I hope that it will be any more snow the rest of the days and months. I like the snow, only for play is nice, but if you must to live every day with the snow in every street, is a little annoy.

¡Estoy viva!
Digo esto porque el sábado pasado viví una tormenta de nieve muy fuerte en Scarsdale «Nueva York«. Seguro que muchos ya lo habéis escuchado en las noticias de España. Todo el día estuvo nevando y haciendo fuerte viento. Estaba sola en casa porque mi Host Family fue a la otra casa en Long Island «Hamptons» el Viernes, por lo tanto, como podéis imaginar estaba muy muy muy muy aburrida. Sin embargo, quite nieve con la típica pala, hice Skype con mis amigos, em. . . Miré 12974018409 TV shows, limpié mi dormitorio y baño privado, qué más? ¡em. . . muchas cosas!
La gente no podía salir de casa, así que todos nos quedamos paralizados sin salir durante todo el Sábado, sólo el camión que quita la nieve podía conducir.
El viernes pasado, el día antes de la tormenta, toda la gente fue a comprar comida porque en las noticias dijeron que la gente no podía salir durante la tormenta, «obviamente» era una tormenta grande! De este modo, durante la tarde, en casi todos los supermercados casi no había comida, al menos lo básico estaba casi agotado, (pan, leche, huevos, carne,…) Cuando estaba en el supermercado, me sentí como si la gente se estuviera preparando para una Apocalipsis zombie. Creo que la gente se tendría que acostumbrar a esto y si ya sabían que la tormenta estava por venir, tendrían que haber comprado la comida antes, no en último momento. Ya te digo, la gente estava como loca y creo que no hay para tanto.
A pesar de la tormenta grande del sábado, el domingo me fui con el trineo con mi Host sister pequeña. Nos lo pasamos genial y casi vuelo del trineo hacia delante por culpa de una pequeña montaña en la bajada. Colgué el video en la pagina web de Facebook por quien quiera verlo, solo tenis que clicar a video y lo podréis ver. Después de bajar en trineo, hicimos un muñeco de nieve llamado granpa «abuelo».
Arriba os dejo algunas fotos sobre la tormenta en NYC y también os muestro nuestro muñeco de nieve.
Espero que no nieva más porque estoy harta de la nieve. Es bonita para un rato y para jugar, pero convivir con ella en cada esquina, es un poco molesto.
