Como la semana pasada os mostré posibles preguntas que podéis hacer a las familias, hoy os traigo posibles preguntas que las familias os pueden hacer.
La agencia seguro que os enviará más preguntas, así que cuantas más tengáis mejor, nunca se sabe que os pueden preguntar, cada familia es un mundo. Hay familias que me preguntaron si tenia novio, otras si fumaba, otras solo me preguntaron si estaba de acuerdo con sus condiciones y poco más, así que tranquilos porque muchas de las familias si os quieren os preguntaran menos de la mitad y habrá otras familias que os preguntarán algunas que no están en ninguna lista que tengáis, así que estad preparados en contestar cualquier cosa 😀
Posibles preguntas que te pueden hacer las familias:
Experience and interest in working with children:
- Why have you chosen to become an aupair?
- What will you do with them? What would you do with children?
- Have you ever bathed or cooked meals for children?
- Can you tell us more about your experience caring for children ages?
- Have you ever cared for children for 45 hours a week, or 8 hours a day?
- How many children have you cared for alone at one time?
- What are your strongest childcare qualities?
Lifestyle and interests:
- What are you doing right now, are you working or going to school?
- What do you like in your live or in your free time?
- What have you done today?
- Can you tell me about your family?
- How do they feel about you coming to the United States for one year?
- What do you want to do after you finish your year as an aupair?
- Do you like or have pets?
- Have you ever been in United States before?
- What would you hope to do during your year in the USA?
Another questions:
- Are you flexible? If we run little late from work, do you mind?
- What kinds of things would you cook for the children’s dinner?
- How often do you help clean up your home now?
- We want our children to learn another language, would you mind speaking to them in your language?
- Do you have any dietary restrictions? Is there any type of food you don’t eat?
- Will you request any time off to observe certain religious days?
Childcare style/methodology:
- How do you react when a child misbehaves, or doesn’t do what you ask? How would you handle?
- Do you think you should treat younger and older children equally?
- How were you disciplined as a child?
About drive:
- How long have you had a driver’s license?
- Have you ever been in a car accident? (If yes, discuss it)
- Do you have an international driver’s license?
- Would you be comfortable driving with kids?
