Preguntas a las familias

Hoy os traigo una lista de posibles preguntas que podéis hacer a las familias. Si vas un poco mal con el inglés, te recomiendo que te prepares muy bien las preguntas o incluso que te las aprendas, sino como ya dije en el anterior post, siempre estarán nuestros queridos post it.

Debajo os dejo las posibles preguntas que les hice a las 11 familias. A mi me sirvió de mucho y sobretodo con aquellas preguntas que más me costaban formular o pronunciar.
Esta claro que a la hora de hacer la entrevista ya sabrás bastantes cosas sobre la familia, porque lógicamente, primero te habrás leído su perfil online y ya sabrás bastante información (nombre, edad, niños, trabajo, estado, ciudad..), así que ánimos y ha preguntar, preguntar y preguntar todo lo que necesitéis. Quiero que preguntéis sin timidez y sin miedo, no dejéis nada por preguntar para evitar mal entendidos y si no entendéis la respuesta, no cuesta nada decir: Can you repeat please? I didn’t undestand you :D, Importante!

Yo antes como todas o casi todas las Au Pairs, pensaba que tanto preguntar les molestaría, pero no, las familias están encantadas por responder y quitarnos las dudas. Esta claro que no haremos las preguntas todas seguidas, sino que también daremos paso a que ellos nos puedan preguntar.

Posibles preguntas a las familias:

About parents:

• How is one day in your family?

• Could you tell me the personality of you and the children?

• What kind of activities do you like to do in your free time?

• What is your job? What is your work Schedule?

• Did you have another au pair before?

• How is your experience with the current au pair?

• What is your hobby?

• Do you meet adult friends or family friends over regularly?

• When something bad or upsetting happens in your family, how do you handle it?

• What type of food do you eat?

• Are you religous? Do you have any special religous habit?

About children:

• Does the girls do some activity after school?

• Which are their hobbies?

• At what time do the girls begin and finish class?

• What kind of food are eating your children?

• Are going your childen to school, pre-school or day care?

• Can you list my responsabilities for each girl?

• Does the children have any heath problem?

• What forms of discipline do you use?

• Do you allow your children and their friends to play in your house?

• Do you want that I talk with your children in Spanish or in English?

• How do you describe your children?

My responsabilities:

• How many hours do I have to work a week?

• At what time does my work begin and finish?

• What kind of homework will I have to do? Will I have to go to the supermarket or cook, for example?

Another questions:

• I want to go to the english class at mornings. Are there places to study english close your home?

• How will be my bedroom? Will I share the bathroom?

• What will be my pocket money?

• Can you describe me your neighborhood?

• How is the weather like?

• Are there any family with children or aupair near your area?

About my free time:

• Could you invite friends or family to visit me at home?

• What days will I work? Do I have to work weekends?

• Can I travel on weekends?

• Will I have curfew? When?

About transport:

• What kind of transport is there in your city? I will have a car or subway, train available?

• Can I use your car in my free time?

• Do you curfew for the car?
